Spring 2013 Fresh Fellows Youth Gardening Program
Youth from the Healthy Hearts Clinic come to the garden weekly to learn about gardening, nutrition, and food justice. The youth take home produce and help run our weekly free produce stand. Started in June 2010, the Healthy Hearts Youth Market Garden is a shared space with community members of the Dover neighborhood and park and the patients of the Healthy Hearts Clinic at Children’s Hospital Oakland. We are excited to be in our THIRD year of programming at Dover Park! This program is run by Phat Beets and the Healthy Hearts Clinic.
