We Cater! Collective

Did you know Phat Beets Produce and Crew cater events?  Both Phat Beetz Youth Pickle n’ Catering Co. and the Phat Beets Kitchen Incubator Program cater events under “the We Cater! Collective”.  We use a majority organic ingredients and source from our farmers markets and local farms such as Castlemont High School Farm and grow a lot of the herbs ourselves.  Email  Carolina at info@phatbeetsproduce.org for more info and a price quote and we can cater a meal to your needs.

Phat Beetz Youth Pickle n’ Catering Co

Dips (plus your choice of bread, pita, or organic corn chips)

  • 7 layer vegetarian dip (pick the bean you want)

Probiotic Pickle Platters

  • A beautiful display of 20 different pickled veggies and/or kraut of your choice with sliced baguette or crackers
  • Cheese and Pickle Platter (custom cheeses and pickles)

Salads

  • Cilatro, ginger miso dressed vegan coleslaw
  • Vegetarian Cesar Salad (romaine) with housemade croutons
  • Arugula and roasted beet salad
  • All root slaw (tunips, carrots, and beets in a light vinegrette)
  • Raw kale salad (kale, garlic, lemon juice, shredded carrots, olive oil, miso)
  • Probiotic Salad (a garden salad garnished with a variety of pickles and krauts, with a creamy probiotic dressing)

Served with Gluten Free Injera (Ethiopian/ Eritrean flat bread made up of “teff” flour)

  • Gomen Wot (Collard greens grown in Oakland!)

  • Tikil Gomen (Cabbage dish)

  • Kik alicha(Yellow split pea stew)

Miss Arepita Mobile Arepas (Venezuelan Food)

Arepas are artisanal hand made -Gluten Free- grill pocket cornmeal then stuffed with different ingredients.  Most Veggies are sourced from Phat Beets Produce and meats are sourced locally.  Comes with sauce to pour over.

Pabellon- Traditional shredded beef, black beans, plantain

Reina Pepiada– Our signature chicken salad with avocado
